The toilet is closely related to our everyday life. It is also a reflection of our civilization as well as the living standard of a society.

The Hong Kong Toilet Association (HKTA) aims to work as a bridge between the Hong Kong Government, professionals and the general public to promote a healthy, accessible and safe toilet environment. The HKTA is intended to enable the public to voice their opinions and make comments on the toilet environment to the related departments in order to improve the policy, design and maintenance of the toilet environment of Hong Kong .

The detailed objectives of the HKTA are to improve the quality of life of Hong Kong people by continuously generating a high level of public awareness about the importance of a good toilet environment and facilities; gather resources and promote creative and user-oriented design, usage, and methods of operation to achieve the above objectives; set world-class standards of excellence in the toilet environment; network with other toilet or toilet associations or bodies worldwide for ideas, and for social, health, and cultural exchanges; liaise with government authorities and other non-governmental organizations to organize joint activities.

In the long term, the HKTA expects to attract to public to join the Association as members and volunteers, in order to support and participate in the improvement of the Hong Kong toilet environment.
